Oh.. I really love Ike Rosen’s ‘Modern Embroidery’ Book – published in 1972 – it’s full of wonderful stuff to stitch, and promises gay, modern motifs for ‘teens and twenties’. I found one on eBay here in case you NEED a copy… (and I think you might!).

Pip you can still get Iced Vovo’s at the supermarket (read Coles/Woolies) but they are not the same as they used to be. Much smaller, heaps less marshmallow, very disappointing. There is a book I have at home which has a recipe. I will dig it out and send it to you. Can’t wait for next year
