These are from the original Martine series, illustrated by Belgian Marcel Marlier. You might recognise the illustrations from your own Johnnie and Sophie books… or Debbie books… or Anita books… the series was published in many countries, and the little girl was always renamed!

the deck chair shot is my favourite! the little girl in the middle with the sausage dog is really good.
I kinda feel like her now, as i type moca in asleep on my lap. If only my computer chair was a deck chair and the sun was shining. It will tomorrow thow, I know!!
