(If you’ve just tuned in…. go over here and see what we’re doing…. )
Amongst the bundle of things was an amazing, sad and happy book called ‘A Rainbow of Feelings’. It’s a book of experiences – in words and pictures. It was compiled via creative therapy sessions with Mirabel kids and their carers – and it’s a compelling read.
Maybe you’re like me, in that you think if a child is going through such difficult things, it’s our responsibility to care – even if we never set eyes on them – and to read about what they are going through – however difficult that might be. So I’m reading it slowly – and it’s making me cry a lil bit – but that’s okay.
I’m so pleased that we’re all getting involved with Mirabel – because these kids really need support from people like us. It’s just a wonderful opportunity to do something that’s going to benefit someone straight away – and sometimes these families feel like they are not special. But we all know they are – and we can show them that we’re thinking of them.
If you haven’t already contributed – please make a softie for Mirabel. We need them at Mikes by about the 20th of this month – but we can stretch it a couple of days if you are stitching slowly!
ps – they also published this funny yet delicious cookbook.

Just wondering which store I should drop my softies at?
Pip mine will be in the post tomorrow or Monday at the latest
Sooooo good Pip – yay you & yay Mirabel.
