I loved reading these little interviews over on Motherland.
Seven Q & As with seven smart girls = interesting and awesome. Maybe you’d like to find out more about…
Girl Talk 1 – Elsa, aged 9 (Above! Hi Elsa!)
Girl Talk 2 – Tyler, aged 16
Girl Talk 3 – Layla, aged 10
Girl Talk 4 – Millie, aged 3
Girl Talk 5 – Rosie, aged 14
Girl Talk 6 – Lucia, aged 6
Girl Talk 7 – Lottie, aged 10
Here are a few things they had to say (click through the list to get the full story, though. It’s totally worth it!)
The positives (about being a girl) are…
That I’m able to feel really proud of being a girl because of women like the suffragettes. They stood up for themselves and for all women. They are inspiring because they didn’t just sit around doing nothing, they got up and did something. This makes me feel good about being a girl.
Elsa, aged 9
My hopes for the future are…
My parents split up last year, so what I’d really like one day is for all the new people in my family to sit round the table and have a nice dinner together.
Layla, aged 10
My ambitions are…
To have a teddy bear, a big teddy bear. And I dream of having a big polar bear. And a big lump of cheese.
Millie, aged 3
My hopes for the future are…
To be a normal grown up and do grown up things, whatever it is that grown ups do. And I want to one of those nice parents.
Lucia, aged 6
How great are kids? So great. Yep.
Thank you to Motherland’s Charlotte Rivers for sharing these great interviews.
