Rad People: Sarah-Jane Adams

March 15, 2016

You know what?

It’s really ace to see a style icon that totally middle-fingers the norm. It’s especially great when that someone is 50+  and is not hiding herself or disappearing into the crowd.

Often, as we age, we might seek to blend in/norm-out… or perhaps we forget about style and just get on with the other important things in life. It might not be a priority. I get that. That’s cool.

That said, I am loving the style shake-up that is the Instagram account of Sarah-Jane Adams. She’s just doing everything in her own way. She will wear what she wants, when she wants and she will post it on Instagram too. She’s irreverently inspiring others to laugh in the face of convention.

Nice work. COOL lady!

Accept your true self, love your true self, smile and laugh often, gather those laughter lines and creases which come when you share a joke. They are you. The world needs to see more of YOU.

Sarah-Jane’s putting together a book about style her way.

(She actually would like some help with that. Perhaps you can help her out? Click the link above!)

I really love her do what you love – wear what you want kinda attitude.

I love her ‘be yourself, be real’ message.

How have I not heard of this awesome chick before?! Thank you for the link to her instagram. I love her style and could use a bit of her confidence.

What a cool lady. Just yesterday I had a conversation about children beginning to edit themselves as the grow older and how sad it was, but how at a certain age people realise who gives a damn and become awesome older people who wear, do and say what is true to themselves.
