Today we got up at 7 and found lots of eggs and bunnies and bilbies and wombats.
Then we had breakfast and I did a bit of crochet and a bit of watching The Real Housewives of NYC.
I made a chicken curry and started a big pot of chicken soup a la Sophie Dahl for dinner.
Then we went to Dragon Boat for YumCha.
And then we went past Kaneda (one of our two favourite Japanese places and spied Steve and Michelle sitting inside. Aw nice. We would never have found this place if Michelle did not tell me about it. Thanks Michelle. You are rad.)
Then Cam bought a Radiohead record and a Rolling Stones record.
Next we went to Reader’s Feast and I bought this book and Max bought this book.
Then Ari spent his pocket money at Mind Games.
Next we went to Rooftop Bar, had a drink and soaked up the gorgeous Eastery Melbourne day.
Then we walked home through the Carlton Gardens.
And now we are home. There is champagne. I need to finish the soup and make the croutons.
And watch a bit more Sophie.
How was your Eastery day?
xx Pip

What a great city sunny view.
Got to love those rooftop bars on a sunny day:)
Aw sounds lovely, I spent mine seeing my cousin's baby christening. Welcome baby Éanna James! I saw this in the Telegraph magazine and thought of you http://www.woodwoolstool.com/index.html
let it bleed…essential stones!
Sounds deliciously perfect!
What a great day you had! Melbourne is so wonderful sometimes. We had a great "adventure in the city" day on Thursday. It reminded me how I love it so and definitely don't go there often enough!
My Sunday was a bit sad after our dog passed away but it was sweet sorrow.
Oh your Easter looks gorgeous!! Nothing finer than autumn afternoon sunshine, food, crochet, books, records, and time with your favourite people!
Oh Melbourne, I miss you so.
Hope you and the family are having a great long weekend, Pip. I'm getting some crochet time in too : )

Sounds like you had a lovely, busy day! Happy Easter 🙂
Beautiful shots (I dig the hair). I would have liked to pick up those records too. Looks stunning, I really wish I was there in Oz right now x
Phew! Embarrassment averted.
Anonymous Port is so Retro-Now, Claire! xx
I'm sorry I did not mean to port anonymous, this makes me sound creepy!
Looks and sounds like a super Eastery! We went and visited our friends and their new tiny baby in Northcote and had lunch at The Pennyfathing. I ate baked eggs.
Going to have Eastery drinks tonight in Fitzroy somewhere then a PAAARTY!
Happy Eastery.
x Claire.
Really, that is simply a gorgeous way to spend Easter Sunday! We popped in to my parents place for a massive lunch and now I'm enjoying a cuppa at home with my blog (ah, yeah, I'm back into it). A quiet day for us.
Happy Easter you lot.
