What are you up to?! We’ve got the draw-bridge up. We are having nice times with the family and doing cosy things. Here is what I have been doing ::
Redesigning my blog so that it has an easier commenting system!
Watching DVDs : The Delicious Ms Dahl at the moment
Eating Kimchi salad in way too copious amounts
Crocheting little dishcloths. I think I will use them in the bathroom too.
Knitting a scarf.
Cleaning my house. Ugh.
Thinking about Max’s birthday on Friday.
Talking to Zoe on the phone. Zoe is Max’s friend. She’s super cute.
Preparing to make a slow beef dish to have in tortillas tonight.
Wishing for champagne.
Wording up the Easter Bunny.
How is it at your place? Are you having nice times?
xx Pip

cosy times here too. our little village has been invaded by easter tourists, so it's much nicer to just stay at home and eat and sew. happy easter pip.
xo
Oh god, granny square HEAVEN…
Cx
OK, I just tried to post and it said I failed…that is what always happens these days…this is me trying again…also I am in England, it is Easter weekend and very sunny, which is unusual and lovely. X
crikey! your blankets are extremely fabulous, especially that gorgeous hexagonal beauty. good saving work. i am continuing with my own blanket saving pursuits, it is getting to near obsessive proportions! i am also enjoying a crafty easter, finished a lovely crochet cushion with bobble trim yesterday. its the first thing i've finished in ages (too many UFO's) and the feeling is really rather super. a big happy easter to yous x
voted for you- yay!…family home-happy! cooking, sewing, painting- very happy!! lots of sunshine-still happy! your photos are so warm & homely, love all that crochet…. happy easter!!!
I did not make these blankies!
One came from Savers and one came from Lost and Found on Smith St.
Both were under $50! Sheesh. I had to rescue them!
Danya. That is sucky. Smooches to you. x
The drawbridge is up here too. Poor Fatty is feeling poorly after a lumbar puncture on Wednesday so we are keeping things quiet. Lots of craft and baking
Ps love the new layout
Are those blankets onces that you've made, Pip? They look so colourful and snuggly.
We are doing much the same. crocheting beanies for a winter trip to canberra. reading books. playing lego. watching dvds and getting ready for the easter bunny. Happy Easter to you and your cute fam xox
Bit of knitting from an old Womens Weekly Best Knits book (Ita was editor), potter round a local Easter Craft market yielding a pipecleaner spider for youngest and fairy brooch for oldest and a quaint tea tray, housework avoidance, cuppa, blog reading – contented sigh.
Easter is just SUCH a nice time of the year! Not too stressful or spendy. Mild, crispy weather. Chocolate. Buns. Sigh.
Sounds cosy magosy.
Bren's entire family are here with friends. 10 girls!
The smallests are watching a dvd, the middles are making a cubby house somewhere in the bush, the teen agers are baking muffins and some of the adults have braved Daylesford. I'm knitting a sleeve, trying to be accomodating of all the gluten freeers in my cooking and stirring a pot of apple and pears destined for fruit leather. x
just hunkering down here too. it's raining. been doing a bit of sewing, pj pants and easter pressies. thinking about some knitting soon. have NO idea what is for dinner tonight…perhaps I can con the husband into cooking again 🙂
x
Oh it does look cosy at your place. I think I need more granny squares in my world.
We are cosying up too, I'm sewing things for Hugo's birthday party and trying not to sneakily eat all the Easter eggs… ahem…
ps. love the new look 🙂
oooh, sounds and looks delish at your castle! We are off to our reno house to do the big final pack and clean ready to put on the market next week. Looking forward to some styling 🙂
Have a great weekend 🙂 x
yay! this is heaps heaps easier to comment. Many and many a time I have gone to comment on your blog and given up!! This weekend I'm pottering about at home looking after Miss 2 who had her tonsils our, taking my sister to see the damage to our city and hopefully sneaking in a bit of sewing time. Just thinking about a new project makes me happy.
OMG I love Kimchi. But living in Korea for three years will do that to a person. They say you know you've made Korea your home when the smell of Kimchi Alley makes your mouth water!
We're bundled up, being cozy at home too! Doing lots of crafting and eating. Wishing you a very happy Easter Pip! x
