Above : Not a film set, but rather the room where the Bronte Sisters hung out and wrote, amongst other things, Jane Eyre, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Wuthering Heights. It’s The Parsonage in West Yorkshire, quite close to those moody moors which inspired so many windswept, damp scenes in Bronte tales. More here.

Is there a treat coming up for you! I hear soon to aired in Australia is Downton Abbey, a period drama set in a stately country mansion in the early 1900's. I saw the first 2 episodes when I was in London last year and am on the edge of my seat waiting to see the rest. I am convinced you will love it given this post.

These are all such great films and shows. You must Google and find Helena Bonham Carter's acceptance speech when she won the BAFTA for The King's Speech Best Supporting Actress a few nights ago (British Academy Awards). It was the wittiest, loveliest speech ever!
