There were so many crafty ladeeez at our Spotlight yesterday that I freaked out. I couldn’t relax and have a good look about. I picked up that bare minimum of kid supplies (felt & glue for project)and hi-tailed it outta there! Glad to see some gorgeous bits on the blog, I’ll have to go back & pay top dollar.

Love the leaves. They didn’t have those at my Spotlight, or the spotty ones, but I scored some “made in Japan – ‘Cherry Tree'” in a couple of colourways. It’s bee-yoo-ti-ful. Sad that I didn’t know about the 20% sale though.

Sweet Pip, those pretty prints haven’t quite made it to Spotlight Darwin. I took my 40m roll of PVC & all who i wiped out in my wake with said huge & heavy roll, & ran out there. 20% off is like a mating call for sewing maniacs. Cute bunny too. Love Posie

Wow you’re right that fabric is gorgeous! I’m so annoyed I can’t make it today for the 20% off, actually perhaps it’s a good thing with these new Japanese-type fabrics, I might go a little broke! :S

Wow – great minds and all that – I saw that material at Spotlight last week and was very impressed. Their quilting fabric is usually in the league of daygo paisley and red marbling…

Oh, I love the green leaves. I liked the spots, too, but not as much as some other Japanese spotty fabric I’ve seen on the web. I have to agree Spotlight seems to be improving. And the giant Essendon store is on my way home from work – might head there today! It’s so much nicer than the Brunswick store. Thanks for the tip.

My local doesn’t have the leaves, which is very sad. Maybe I need to take a trip to my not-so-local.
