I picked these Cosmo-Tex Japanese import fabrics up at Spotlight in Box Hill last night. They have a nice selection of spotty prints – all 100% cotton. There were other colours in the big spotty one too – but one mustn’t buy EVERY PRINT, must one?!
I’m looking forward to seeing what other Japanese fabrics they have picked up – I’m sure we’re seeing the beginning of something big at Spotlight – for only $13 a metre too! Go get ’em!
xx mikes
edit… i got some gorgeous leaf print Japanese fabric at Brunswick Spotlight – it comes in four colourways and is the standard $13 a metre – it’s quite beautiful.

easy peasy japanesy – so what will it all become? And when do you get the time? Do you ever sleep?
i went to spotlight today because i was just in the market for some spotty fabric to cover some boxes.. and i ended coming home with something altogether different (though just as divine).. i do love though!
Oh, and if anyone ever goes anywhere near Lincraft at Knox City, they have a HUGE range of lace trims! My 3yo had to drag me away sternly!
Oooooh! I live just around the corner from the Box Hill Spotty! Why did I not see these when I was there just last week???? (Although I did see some new Japanese quilting fabrics which had not even hit the shelves yet. I had a fondle, but lovely as they were they did not go with any of the projects in my pipeline, so I had to let ’em go. Just thought I’d let you know of them, though!)
Oh, i’m faithful to buying my Cosmo Textiles from Retro Mummy. Love Posie

Pip, I saw those and quite a few others at my local SL today but haven’t bought any yet
Fantastic!! I am off to Spotlight tomorrow with a crafty friend of mine. Usually I go to Box Hill, but tomorrow she is introducing me to Spotlight at Hoppers Crossing. Yay! Yay!
Oooh that’s my local Spotlight and you can tell I haven’t been in a while as these are news to me! They’re lovely – what do you have planned for them?
Oh my! I wish it was payday so I could go out and buy some!
nice!
