I first saw these amazing photos on the very entertaining Nine By Design. Actually I saw the amazing print of the girl in the yellow dress and I totally fell head over heels in love. Nine by Design is sort of like the Swiss Family Robinson meets Elle Decor (UK). It’s all about a busy, colourful New York family of nine, their amazing homes and the interior design work they do. Sounds fancy, I know, and it kinda is except for the vast amounts of delicious pizza they eat, the world class sliding down banisters and the family thrift shopping expeditions. See. Not so fancy. Kinda normal. You can see their house (complete with the yellow girl) here. It’s pretty interesting.
This gorgeous yellow girl is part of a series by Erwin Olaf. Mr Olaf takes beautiful photos. Some of them are like these…. sort of MadMen-esque and sorrowful and gorgeous. And some of them are like photos of nude men. Because they ARE nude men. So just letting you know in case you are not into nude men and start googling Mr Olaf. I think nude men are okay… but I don’t generally google around for them. When I did google Mr Olaf I got an eyeful, I can tell you. Like honestly. My eye nearly got poked right out. So just letting you know. There is also some other fairly avant garde out there by Mr Olaf. If you’re into that. I find it a bit hard to look at, to be honest. I like the pretty girls better….
