Hello!
How are you petals? I am good! I have had a lovely day, unpacking toys, writing posts, drinking tea and thinking about how good things are. Yesterday, I had a visit from Julia who is writing a thesis and interviewing some of your favourite Australian craft bloggers. Basically we spent three hours chatting and drinking cups of tea, under the serious guise of work. It was really neat!
Speaking of NEAT, on Friday (of last week! Tardy!) I met Sally from the Wangaratta Art Gallery in the city, outside the NGV. We took in the super great Romance Was Born Express Yourself exhibition and also snuck a peek at the David Shrigley show. Oh. My. Gosh. You must go. Both are just so amazingly great. Romance Was Born, for all the irreverent, colourful, unapologetic nostalgic fabulousness. And Shrigley for all the irreverent, unapologetic, hilariously flawed awesomeness. So good. After we had lamingtons and jam donuts and talked about camping. BEST DAY EVER!
NOW, we’re kind of thinking about the weather and whether we should sneak off and go camping, or whether we’ll get rained out. I’m going to ponder that for a bit longer, I think.
Anyways, the gift of Pip. I just wanted to let you know that I’ve updated my online store with eCourses, gift vouchers and blog mentoring sessions, in case you need to buy someone a useful gift or buy yourself some creative improvement!
You can go here to see what’s on offer.
At the moment I’m eating salsa and corn chips and drinking tea. A weird combination, but it’s working for me. I’m looking forward to having chats with my students tonight, watching the second last Sons Of Anarchy ever and trying to capture a photo of the Softies For Mirabel toys in the window once it’s dark (just you wait! They look so cute!!)
Much love to you, babes. Here’s to this NINTH year of blogging. I clink my teacup at you!
*clink!*
x Pip
