Oh! And…
We made bread today! The white loaf is from the Australian Women’s Weekly Recipe Cards….. and the wholemeal loaf is from this book. Yum. The jam is from the first lot we bought for the shop from Windsor Deli : Kat gave us a jar and then we kept sneaking refills out of the shop because we really like their jam a lot! You really should keep your jam in the fridge… and keep it upside down. You should do that. The kids are hacking off rather large chunks of bread and eating it with Jam or with Smoked Trout dip. The house smells extremely nice… and I have another loaf rising as we speak. NOT because I am a domestic goddess… but because I really like the smell of baking bread and I am a total Carb-Hound. Sigh. Are you into Carbs? Or Jam? Or Trout? What would you put on this warm bread? Are you listening to ‘Far and Wide’ on 3RRR? (I am!)
