We had the loveliest most productive day yesterday at Brunswick St! Lots of lovely friends came to help us put up wallpaper and paint and eat a lovely morning tea!
We had home-made baked cheesecake, and delicious banana cake.. and I made baguettes with potato tortilla and tomato relish! YUM! And thirty seven cups of tea helped to keep the wallpaper nice and straight.
Emma and Lovely Leo visited to marvel at the tree in our new yard! And a coupla nice Bridge Rd customers came for a peek too!
It all went swimmingly – and we left by 6.00… and went to Safeway… where we exhaustedly locked the keys in the car and had to wait for the RACV in the cold until 7.10. But luckily we were home in time for Kath and Kim. Phew.
Today we are back over there doing glueing and rack put-togethering… and back here to open at 11!
It’s all coming together nicely, though.
xx mikes
