HOW did I get to my age without watching Gilmore Girls before? I just don’t know. I’m at the end of Season Two and I have a whole world of Loreleis to go. Phew.
I just watched the film night/car wreck/Jess persona non grata episodes. How great was Kirk’s film? How ace is it that Carole King runs the music shop?
Really, I can’t write any more as I am too busy watching. Are you a fan of this cute/witty show?
x Pip

I was actually watching it while browsing your blog when I saw your post, so it was kind of weird, but in a nice way. It’s fun and heartwarming and witty and really the best show to watch and have around when crafting. Like a good friend, it will never overwhelm you with drama , but still be serious sometimes, and always here for a good laugh.I wish there were more shows like that.
GG is one of my fave shows ever!! I’ve watched the series so many times that I’ve had to buy new DVD’s! The Jess part is one of my favorites, they were so cute together.
Pip, I’m so pleased you have caught the GG bug! It is a true TV gem. If you get addicted big-time, there’s a fun book of essays on GG called Coffee at Luke’s.
Oh wow, I am definitely pulling this out of the draw and watching again. I just love this show and have watched a few times. Thanks for the reminder! And enjoy the rest of the seasons.
Loved Gilmore Girls! The closest I’ve come to that Gilmore feeling since then is through Hart of Dixie – not the same, but if you saw it you would know what I mean. Enjoy!
One of my all time fave shows, never gets old!!!! Who wouldn’t want Lorelei as their Mum!!??? And Rory, super cute & super smart!!!
One of my all time favourite shows.. Just love all the characters and my fav would be Melissa McCarthy!

Love the Gilmore Girls it’s one of my favourite TV shows. I remember watching it pregnant and now I watch it with my kids!!!
I have got my 11 year old on to the Gilmore Girls. I bought the whole series for myself for when the other half was interstate, some were still unopened my daughter is now up to Season 5 and I have been watching them with her and loving the conversations that are coming out during the show.
Love Gilmore Girls – I used to tape it then watch the next day while breastfeeding my eldest – who is now 13 and also loves GG (she binged watched all series!)
So love this series I have had the GG dvd box set keep me company on many a sewing day as I know it so well I don’t get distracted watching it. Love that it’s funny but in no way dumbed down, so funny watching the box set that Kirk when he first arrived had a different name (as an Internet installer called Mike?) but he is an interesting character!
I have watched the whole series at least six times. I’m a Gilmore Girls nerd.
I think we may be sharing a brain. Gilmore Girls was of those shows that started while I was doing other things and while caught the occasional episode, I never caught up. I am thoroughly enjoying my current binge watching, although I should probably remember to do other things, like talking to other people. Oops!
I absolutely love the show. I watch them she they first came out and still watch and love them now. They kept me company for house when sitting on the couch feeding my newborn son 3 years ago. Enjoy every moment. It just keeps getting better. Jx
best. series. ever. I will never tire of it. So sad when it finished!
Enjoy! Your life will never be the same again!!!
Love love love the Gilmore Girls – have all the dvds and watch them often! I did one of those “Which TV mother are you?” quizzes recently and was so excited to be Lorelei 🙂
Dont you just want to have those girls as friends and live in Stars Jollow?! I had to watch a whole season of Gilmore Girls a while ago trying to find a crocheted blanket someone emailed me about ( I have a category on my blog for crochet seen on TV). I found two blankets and Im told there is a red crochet dress in one episode too! Hete is the blog post about the Gilmore Girls throws http://crochetime.net/2014/09/18/as-seen-on-tv-gilmore-girls/
Gilmore Girls is one of my all time favourites that I watched when it was on TV and I also borrowed the set to watch again. Such a fabulous series which I hope to watch with my daughters soon. We tend to have a new series to watch each summer holidays.
Gilmore Girls seems to be everywhere at the moment. I never watched it religiously but I think it might be time to pick up my Mum’s box set.
That’s so funny Pip, I’ve never watched it before but Netflix keeps trying to coerce me into watching it… now after reading your reaction I’m thinking I might give it a go! 🙂
How indeed! GG is in my top 5 tv series EVER! I’m actually a bit jealous that you have so much to look forward to. I still watch it any time it comes on even though I’ve seen all of them many many times.
Enjoy x
