Hello!
I’ve been watching Love Story and looking at pictures of Ali MacGraw. What a legend. I love these shots of her pretending to craft/crafting. I was just watching the end when Cam came in from being out. He arrived playing a bongo. I can highly recommend this if you are prone to tears at the end of sad movies. Just get someone to wander by and play a bongo. It’ll totally take the edge off the tragedy and you’ll find you use heaps less tears/tissues. He then showed me a ‘puffy’ framed tapestry of two weirdly stitched children. That also was helpful. In fact it may have fortified me enough to tackle a tissue-less viewing of Kramer Vs Kramer next.
Phew.

My son has this habit of turning round to look at me in the squishy/ tear-evoking parts in movies to see if I am reaching for the tissues yet. I always am. Too funny, I will have to invest in a set of Bongos! I watched Kramer V Kramer recently, and I was fascinated by that peek into the issues of the time. Oh Yeh, that’s right, it was a time when was still adjusting to women having serious careers or taking time for themselves. Not so long ago!!
Just to clarify that it is impossible to watch Kramer v’s Kramer without blubbing. Impossible I tell you. Bongos or no bongos!
