My fave is “Herbie Nichols”, I love the writing, followed closely by “Urbie Green”. My worst covers are “Gene Harris”, he suspiciously looks like Michael Jackson in disguise (especially with all those children!), & “Down home style” all that food looks like an assortment of up chuck!& featuring the hit theme from electric surfboard…what a combination!

Hi Pip, well I’m picking the Cool Britons of course, as that’s me, and I love that style of illustration! It’s like a Sasek book. I agree with your dislike, and also I wouldn’t choose Down Home Style or Hot Dog a I am a veggie like Corrie. Yuck!

Oh, hands down, Satin Doll. My best friend is Jamaican, & i used to babysit her son who looked JUST LIKE THAT LITTLE BOY. Needless to say, that gorgeous little boy fitted right in with my blonde girls, a real head turner at the supermarket!! Just wanted to pick a favourite, the rest were all pretty trippy. Love Posie

wow well I think its a toss up between cheshire cat and the little baby with the curls (too cute)…my least favourite would absolutely have to be the one with the meat on it ….only ‘cos I don’t eat meat!!!!!!!!!!!!! love all of them otherwise…very retro

ps can you please let me know what I have to do to join your november stitching night!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks
    Corrie:)
