Hello

Umm… balls?

September 20, 2007

After all the pears I made for stitching gifts.. I am moving on to rounder things! Look at all these supercute round things!

The Japanese one is from Heart Warming Life Series 2006 Volume 3 ISBN4-529-04238-3.

The PEA is my favourite – it is from the wonderful and gorgeous blog twostraightlines – go there.. it is very nice! (Little Pea is a book by the fab Amy Krouse Rosenthal – what a good idea to make a matching pea!) There’s a link to the pattern there too!

The kitty one is from Martha Stewart Living – I know.. i’ve put this one in before.. but it’s cute, huh?!

You can find some more stuff about making SPHERES from fabric here. And the swirly knitted ball pattern is here.

xx mikes
Let me know if you make any of these! Mikes would love some!

I was actually thinking happy red Japanese style apples or smiley coloured balls with jingle bells in the middle…no intention of copying the pea.
If you like that idea Pip, email me.

I’d be happy to make some little pea-esque thingys for mike’s! I think I could guarantee cuteness ๐Ÿ˜›

I have a set of 3 peas in a pod that I got from that shop ‘The Lost Forests’ years ago. They used to live lined up on the dashboard of my car.
