Here’s some snippity snaps from my PomPom Pass It On workshop yesterday at the Melbourne CAE. We had the best time. Everyone made at least 2 pompoms in the alotted time and there was lots of pompom swinging and trimming and hacking going on.
I love teaching at CAE. Do you know why? The CAE is for everyone. It’s not exclusive or fashion-y or uber-cool. It’s just there to provide access to all kinds of tuition to all kinds of people. The classes I have taught so far have been super varied, student wise, with people from all over Melbourne popping in to get creative. I have loved them because I love teaching. I love seeing people get excited about making things. And I love meeting people (especially people who have never come across my work before!)
We had a really great time and I think everyone would have stayed another hour and eaten CAKE if they could have. That could be a GOOD plan for next time, I think! 🙂
The next PomPom Pass It On will be in 2014. I’ll let you know when or you can keep your eye on the Melbourne CAE course guide if you like!*
The PomPom template is here, for the students (or others) who wanted to download it and print some more!

* I’m also teaching THIS course with Gemma next year! Again! (The last one went really well and you get a handmade ZINE to work in and take home… and baked goods too!)
