When I looked up Holly Berry, Google wanted me to look at Halle Berry. I did not want a bar of that. Halle is nice and all, but Holly is just the kind of gal I like to Google (in a non creepy, crafty way!)
Rayna mentioned that she was watching Mastercrafts on the ABC over the weekend. So I looked it up and watched it yesterday afternoon too. It’s quite good to make like Rayna, because she has heaps of good ideas.
I am so glad I DID get this particular tip, because it was SUCH a great show. The ep I am talking about is the one about weaving. I would LOVE to learn how to do this and I hungrily watched 3 creative loom novices compete to make the best fabric (and win a prize, which I think was a bit of a weaving residency… I think!)
I won’t reveal the outcome, in case you haven’t seen it yet, but I will say that my fave was Holly. I loved the things she made and the WAY she made them, falling in love with the process and getting very tearily happy about the whole thing, too.
If you haven’t watched it, at the very least watch this weaving ep. And you can read Holly’s blog here. I think you SHOULD.
x Pip
