Excuse me.. i am having a little trouble breathing.. I am so excited about THIS book.. which is due for release in the US in a months time! I love Pippi. She’s my namesake, and any girl that keeps a horse in her living room and sails the high seas and is not scared of monkeys.. is a friend of mine.
Pippi was a favourite when I was little – and this is a newly translated version – so it will be interesting to see how it holds up to the original. But I’m most excited to see Lauren Child.. my favourite and my best.. is a Pippi fan too! There is something a bit Quentin Blake about her Pippi cover, don’t you think?!
