Here’s another ace Christmas Good Stuff Wishlist! This time, we’re wishlisting with Carly Findlay. Carly is a diversity advocate. I think I made that term up, actually, but it’s pretty close to the mark, I think. Carly’s mission is to open minds and I think she’s doing a pretty rad job of it. You might already know Carly from her blog and she’s recently graced the pages of Frankie. (Read her mini profile on JustB here, too!)

Here’s Carly:
My birthday and Christmas are very close together. My birthday, 8 December, isn’t a milestone. It’s one year past 30. It screams grown up, sensible, talking quieter. I don’t think I’ll ever talk quieter.
I don’t really want for much. I have everything I need. I have had such a good year! I’ve experienced all I’ve wanted through travel and success, and bought so many good things from London and New York. There’s nothing I wish I had bought. Well, maybe that green Kate Spade bag I saw in Beverley Hills… And I’ve had fantastic times with my wonderful family and friends. I have eaten food that I will remember forever – that six course dessert degustation, dinner at The Spotted Pig, that cake flavoured cocktail in Union Square NYC, lunch at Momofuku, that $13 lobster at Chelsea Market NYC, two pork pies at Borough Market, London (and 13 courses of food in one dayn in Canberra!) Oh my happy tummy and tastebuds. AND I have seen great live music. That’s all I need!

This Christmas, or my birthday, please don’t spend a lot. Just your time, a nice meal and some laughter would make me happy. But if you feel you need to buy me something, I guess you could get me any of the following:
+ A magazine subscription to Lucky Peach (Momofuku’s magazine) (subscribe here ) or Scotland’s answer to Frankie, Oh Comely (subscribe here. ) I fell in love with these overseas.
+ This pretty necklace – silver, goldstone and a star, everything I’m obsessed with right now. It is by Edor on Etsy.
+ Or a fail safe voucher for Cue (because when I grow up I’d like to buy my corporate clothes from there) or a Bottle-o so I can buy some cake flavoured vodka to recreate that cocktail.
Have a merry Christmas everyone!
Keep safe and tell those you love how much you love them.

Thanks Carly!
