Yes.. i said heron.
I got this dress yesterday in a country op-shop. It is just lovely.
Look at the print.. it is gorgeous.. with big, beautiful herons all over it.. and leaves and camellias and even more gorgeous things. It’s label says ‘Myer Southland’ – and I have met many lovely dresses from Myer Southland, this one included.
BUT.. the sleeves .. they are open all the way from shoulder to wrist.. with 3 little ties for modesty. My arms.. they don’t want to peekaboo. They want to hide away where nobody sees. They are pale and wintery and a bit lumpy in parts… Sigh. I am wearing it anyway.. and if you come to Mikes today.. please avert your eyes from my arms. Because there are other nicer things about me.. and nobody’s perfect, right?

I spied that necklace straight up, super pretty!! I do love the birds though, in those hues it’s not too flamboyant. Bring your Wintery arms to me, after a few school runs in tank tops, you’ll be tanned all over again. I’m sure you look stunning, with baby blues & all, love Posie
