F is for…

Love to catch ’em.. hate to eat ’em. When I was little we grew up fishing off the rocks.. or out in the boat (called ‘Hey Charger’). I loved to fish.. and I loved to eat fish.. and my theory is that I have had way more than a whole lifetimes’ fill of fish! I DON’T LIKE FISH. I am sorry! I’m super pleased if you do. And Cam LOVES fish so much he could just burst. Me.. nup.

Hmm this sounds a bit negative too.. but I hate footy. I have lived in Melbourne for 20 years and i still think footy sucks… I’ve tried to like it… and it just didn’t work. Footy is dull. Sorry. I am super pleased if you like it though.

When I was 14 i had my hair done in Farrah’s own frosted flicks.. big, blonde, bouncy and brash… not only does this reveal my age.. but it reveals my penchant for the outlandish and attention seeking, even then. If you have Farrah Flicks today.. I am super pleased.

Floating…

I am not sure if i float.. i never really go swimming.. I prefer to be reading, stitching, working, cooking, cleaning.. the list goes on.. I wish I was a great swimmer.. I am really good at watching other people swim, though. If you can swim laps, I am super pleased.. and I wish I could.. I am more of dog paddler.

Love it.. I love furniture.. since i was a wee gal I have re-arranged my room to try out the various combinations re furniture placement. I think that is why I am so suited to my shopkeeping career.. it involves a lot of re-arranging stuff. Re-merchandising, as we call it in the trade. I love furniture even more if it costs less then $100. My latest purchases were the Mikes Stitching Night Table – 8ft long or more and $120 from the Salvos. A coffee table with drawers in the bottom – really nice – $10 at auction. A ladder (ok.. not quite furniture) – which will become a shelving unit – $8 at auction. I love the way you can spend a teeny bit and make a huge impact. I’m not much of a designer furniture gal.. but if Eames is your god.. i am super-pleased.
