I used to watch it as a kid all the time:) Norshtein is Russias greatest animator! and ‘hedgehog in the fog’ is my favorite cartoon of all times! hands down!

These animations are inspiring me. I love the hand drawn, handmade quality in the details. I do like smooth modern cartoons, but there is something comforting and warm about this old style of animation.

In the eastern part of Germany we are brought up with illustrations and animations like this. It´s so nice to see one again. Beside admiring the beauty of the drawings I also start my day now with a smile. Thank you for posting it, greetings AnnLuise
