Good Friday lunch was spent here. Delicious pea frittata. Divine chicken sandwiches. Gorgeous Bonsoy Chai. Lovely view. Great!
Then we popped in here for bread. Alas they had run out. But jar after jar of fresh preserved fruit and veg. Super cheese. Ace Kennedy and Wilson Easter eggs. Friendly staff and beautiful dining room.
I made 2 granny squares along the way. We had a lovely time!
Then onto here for the weary travellers dinner. Excellent Thai in modest surrounds. Try the pork hock (if you are meaty) and the papaya salad (if you are not).
Ahhh. Easter.
xx Pip

Pip, in our house we call Good Friday – Great Friday! Works for us.
Even better this year because Great Friday was also my birthday. Gotta love that.
Ohh you came to my neck of the woods!! I’m up at Healesville, and I love all the good food and cafes around here. It looks like you had a wonderful day out!
Oh, I’m Sam by the way and just stumbled upon your blog! 🙂
I am jealous! My Good Friday was spend ripping up kitchen floor tiles with a jackhammer…
Ok, I admit it, DH worked the jackhammer, but I had to clean up the mess 🙁
oh lovely! what a great day. sure beats my good friday spent in bed with gastro. but on the mend now, and have even found some time today to pick up the knitting needles.
Love the yellow granny squares!
Looks like you had a lovely day. Just wanted to let you know that i purchased your book today. I love it and are in the process of having a go at making the little shoes. Amy.
