Hello!
How are you? I am good. Like, really good! I have been having a bit of a smoothie revelation. Sorry to go on about it, but I am feeling pretty great, and I think it’s all due to my new Smoothie A Day habit!
This weekend we had Ari’s Dance Concert. It was rad. I was really buoyed by the way all the kids danced with SUCH enthusiasm and good humour. And skill. It was pretty great to see and very inspiring. Nothing like GOOD spirits to lift your outlook, and they were both good and spirited!
Here’s what else I did. (And you can tell me what you did? I would love that!)
1. Coffee at Orange
2. Big walk around the neighbourhood
3. Snacking on Boston Bun (YUM!)
4. Crocheting my vintage fan blankie (pictures soon!)
5. Getting ready to go to Sydney this week.
6. Blogging here and on JustB.
7. Warming toes in front of heater and atop electric blanket
8. Reading online magazines via Zinio (Frankie, Whole Living, HGTV Magazine & Elle Decoration UK)
9. Watching Design Star and The Real Housewives
10. Noticing rainbows.
What have you been doing? Do you like rainbows?
xx Pip

I've gone off smoothies the last few weeks. It's just too cold but I will start again soon because your right, they do make you feel great!
This weekend I spent time watching my boys play footy. They are doing so well & I feel so proud of how far they have come.
I spent yesterday cooking some bread, some soups, baked beans & a cake. Anyday spent in the kitchen is a good day!
I'm still crocheting my blanket. I feel I'm probably a third of the way through…
The only bad thing to happen was my little kitten had to go to hospital. She escaped & fell out of a tree! I got the call this morning that she has fractured her tibia but no surgery is required just lots of bandaging & cage rest for 3 weeks ๐
I saw a dance concert this weekend too Pip! My little sister (who is now a very grown-up 18! And driving!) did some super beautiful dancing at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre.
I am not a big fan of smoothies, but I am loving honey-mustard chicken at the moment. I have it at least twice a week, and this weekend I did fantastic rolls for my Dad and I to eat at the concert during interval. I toasted the rolls so they were crunchy, then added slices of feta, baby spinach and chicken. I wanted to add roasted pumpkin too, but I ran out of time.
I got to the Museum on Saturday, and saw To The Arctic with some mates. We snuck our hands under the tarp outside and felt the snow. Chilly! And they saw a double rainbow as they came in.
It was a pretty good weekend. Thanks for sharing xo
Love rainbows, I have had such a full on weekend like you.
Mainly several birthday celebrations.
I have also been doing much toe-warming!

I used your video tutorials to start learning how to make granny squares. I looked at a few and yours were the easiest to follow by far… thank you ๐
Had a girls weekend away and it was divine. I saw rainbows on the drive up and on the way back.
