:: How To Make A Raspberry Smoothie!

June 19, 2012

I’m totally addicted to smoothies. I am the first to admit that I get very caught up in work and craft and I forget to eat. And I’ve been a bit sick lately, probably because of that. So I’m in smoothie mode!
It all started with this green smoothie I made for JustB.  I loved that one. AND I thought I would hate it. But I didn’t.
Next I started experimenting and realised that really, MOST fruits and vegetables taste pretty great if combined in the right proportions.
THEN I started talking to Kirsty and she said she know someone who packs a smoothie for morning tea.  I think I totally get that and could probably have three a day.  But I won’t. I’ll just have one. Honest. *titter*
Here’s today’s smoothie de Pip. It’s raspberry.  I like it a lot. What kind of smoothies do you like, dudes?

xx Pip

I am a total smoothie addict ๐Ÿ™‚ My typical mix is 1 banana, frozen fruits (mango and/or raspberries and/or strawberries and/or blueberries), 1 cup soft tofu and i fill it up with whatever juice i have (usually orange).
Its pretty much a complete meal!

We start the day with a smoothie every morning, with whatever is in the fruit bowl. Zings me up for the day ahead for sure!!

I too adore smoothies (and forget to eat). I normally have one for breakfast. My current fave is 1 banana, juice of 1 orange, couple of tablespoons of greek style yoghurt and the magic ingredient of a small handful of frozen blueberries. If you use them straight from the freezer its like adding ice without diluting the taste. So scrummy

we are a bit smoothie mad over here too. it's the best way to sneak lots of good food into my kids. our milkman has just introduced us to kefir, so we add that in place of yoghurt for some extra goodness.

This looks so yummy. I made a good old banana one this morning for brekkie with banana, honey, cinnamon, vanilla ice cream and milk. But my favourite especially during summer is watermelon, banana, lemon gelato, mango gelato and ice.
