I'll be making some mulled wine and sitting in front of the fire all weekend finishing off the three crochet projects that I havew going at the one time (everybodies having babies!!!)
I had my first go at making a folded paper sculpture out of an old book – and it looks fabulous. Off now to find more old treasures to give new life to . . .
My daughters and I made your cool gnocchi Napoli recipe for dinner last night and it was fabulous again. Thank you
Hope you can do al those wonderfull things this week-end! 🙂
I just finished a bear and am making a new one now! Mmmmm Love it.
To bad weather to work in the garden anyway.
Ilove the dog picture!
Pip,
i was up early making lemon muffins for my class before school( we have school on Saturday ). The pic of your little dog sleeping made me smile though – she is the image of our new little pup Missy!
While I should probably be making other things, i've become completely distracted by making pom poms! I only just learned how to make them this week, so there's still a novelty factor going on. My favourite way to make them so far is with a fork. I'm so easily amused.
I'm going to make a mess!!!! and…..it's probably going to be quite a big one. Have heaps of art assignments and homework to do. Starting right now, getting off computer now. Happy Mothers Day to all Mums out there – and Mother Figures too! sue
I too am a granny-squaring… Making a couple of 'crochet snood' commissions. The sun is OUT on the south coast of the UK today after a MONTH of pretty much solid rain. (YUP… SOLID!)
I've never really understood the chevron stitch, so maybe a ripple blanket should be next on my list of stuff to do?…
Enjoy

We had vegetarian tacos on Thursday night!!!
I'm determined … oh am I determined!! .. to master the art of crochet. I don't know what it is – I can knit, sew, type, cook and do all sorts of lovely things with my hands – but crochet, I don't know. So my mother's day wish is to sit for some time with my wool and hook in hand and do it!!
I'm making another softie to add to my etsy shop. My family of softies is taking over my sewing cave!
I am making and joining lots of granny squares inspired by your simple granny pattern. I hope to make a ripple blanket too, as I like repeating the same pattern over and over again – less thinking involved then making lots of small little things.
Other than that I am resting up and trying to get over this pesky cold that has arrived. Happy mothers day to you Pip 🙂
Hey Pip:
hanging out in my bed after a productive crochet day, and opened your blog ( I read whenever you post… I live in the US… in a small isle off the coast of New York and Connecticut, The Long Island Sound to my North, The Atlantic to my South….
And this weekend I will make a Ginger infused simple syrup to use in the Peach Margaritas I intend to serve at the Mother'sDay brunch I am hosting on Sunday for my mini family (not all of my daughters, son, spouses and children will be on hand but those that are able will…
On the crochet front I have the start of a flower shawl to crochet as gift to my Bestie…Happy Mother's Day to you Pip xox
