I went on TV today. On The Circle. Gulp! Here is what I made…
A Mother’s Day Terrarium
You will need:
A glass container (like a salad bowl or a fish bowl!)
A bag of potting mix
Rubber gloves to protect hands
A bag of small stones or pebbles
A couple of succulent plants
A few cute decorations (like little animals or other small toys)
Safety Warning : Be sure to wear gloves when using potting mix. Make sure that you don’t breathe the mix in. We recommend using a dust mask to be extra safe.
Let’s Go!
Layer the stones very carefully and slowly in the bottom of the glass container.
Put on your gloves and mask and add a layer of potting mix around 3 inches thick.
Remove your plants from their containers and remove as much of the soil as possible, being careful not to damage the roots.
Plant them firmly in the soil.
Add some stones around the plants to help keep them securely in place.
Add your other cute decorations.
Wash your hands carefully with warm soapy water.
Give the terrarium to someone you love!
Care for your terrarium : Keep in a light room and spritz with water every 3 or 4 days.

That looks great. I need to see if I have a creative side like that.
I missed you on the show, but I KNOW that you would have been absolutely brilliant as always! I am so glad that they have been able to show the rest of Australia your talents! I hope that I get a terrarium just like the one that you made for my FIRST Mothers Day! xox
Pip you are a trooper working with the Circles motley crew! Very funny and lovely mother's day crafting as well. Well done!
Ooh, love the terrarium – might have to make one for my mum. I'm sure she'll appreciate baked treats too. So many cute ideas! Aww, Pip, you're adorable, I didn't watch the show but I'm sure you looked lovely xo
Wow, you are great on telly! Love your work;)
I've been thinking about terrariums lately and where I can buy one . . . now I know how they work I can make my own! Thank you!
You're awesome girlie!
I missed you on the show though, Bubba decided to nose-dive onto the concrete floor so I had to …a)deal with his blood nose …b)cuddle him a lot …c)take him outside for a distraction & he then tried to eat slater – gross! …d) I have Mondayitis severely and have already eaten a pack of Tim Tams by 11am!
