Happy Easter to YOU! Today I got up very early and did some things and drank coffee. The kids got up at seven, which I think is QUITE late for Easter Sunday, don’t you think?! We had set up an Easter shop for them, full of free Easter goodies, so they shoplifted what they wanted with glee. THEN I posted a quirky flash mob video and wrote a piece about Blogging Vs The Mainstream Media on JustB. And then we went to the Camberwell Market. I got these things and ate an avocado, cheese and chili roll and drank a coffee. Cam kept nicking off, so I told him off a few times. And Ari bought a harmonica and a hat. Then we came home. That’s it so far!
Do you like these things I bought at the market? Did you have a lovely Easter morning? Tell me about YOUR Easter Sunday, if you can be bothered?
xx pip

Ooooh… I had a radio like that, but mine played Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush. I LOVED it. It's in the loft somewhere i hope!
Oh wow, that little radio is gorgeous!!! I remember something similar from when we were little. I think my friend had one. I used to love the record player toy that they did too! Fisher Price was a HUGE luxury where I grew up! Beautiful finds!
so cute finds
Oh my! I sooooooooooo wanted one of those Fisher Price radios when I was little. Who am I kidding? I soooooo want one now!!! I was jealous of anyone who had one along with the Fisher Price tv sets that worked similarly but had the screen that scrolled across … 70's iPad?
GADZOOKS that Fisher Price transistor radio is a score and a half. Gorgeous! x
salad bowl envy
Nice finds! I spent my Easter Sunday hanging around Melbourne with my boyfriend, then we both went to the airport & I flew home to Tassie and he flew home to Sydney! Now we miss each other! 🙁
Oooh I was at the market too. I had a stall. Selling my Mastermind game that I hated as a child! I had other things too – lots of Barbies and other board games and pretty Vintage greeting cards. Did you see me? I had an old blue high chair with a golliwog painted on it. I didnt sell it so had to bring it home. Otherwise it was a great day and I bought a pretty cup saucer and plate with some of my profits.xx
Great finds! Love those salt shakers.
My in-laws live in Balwyn and every time we visit I think that I should really go and check out Camberwell markets. One day, I will actually go.
Swoon swoon over the fisher price radio – I am in love with fisher price and am wondering at what age my boys will be before I stop kidding myself I am buying it for them!
Happy Easter All x
I got up early ( eek!)then made a lovely breakfast, ate too many easter eggs, cleaned the pool, watched my boys play with our pets ( I joined in too), staked the tomato plants, re-planted the front garden & went to get some new plants & planted those too, washed the puppy with my littlest boy, caught up on my blog reading & am now contemplating what to make for dinner….It'll be something really simple I think.
I'll finish today by watching some TV & settling in to read my book. It's been as close to perfect as possible ( Tim's away at work which is the only thing stopping it from being completly perfect). I love these kinda days.
Your's sounds like a lovely day too Pip- Happy Easter !!
Oh we have been surprisingly productive too! My boyfriend and I got up early and he made us porridge, then we fixed up our bikes (a job we have been putting off for aaages) and rode to the shops. Then we did some DIY and painted our bedside tables, cooked up a big lunch, and we still have the whole afternoon ahead of us! Must be something in the air… I absolutely love that salad bowl, my parents had one just like that when I was growing up and I have always wanted one of my own. By the way, I just finished your bloggers vs the mainstream media piece and I thought it was excellent. The mainstream media is going to have to learn to adjust to the new world of information sharing, and sitting around and bitching about bloggers is certainly not going to help!
Thanks for your lovely visit today : ) I do love that Salad bowl! Yes we saw Cam looking for you he was looking a little lost! I hope you are not getting sick too. I am now snug at home slurping down piping hot tomato soup. x
I like your salt and pepper shakers Pip. I'm in bed with a pinched nerve. Every time I try and get up and do anything I feel like little dog just bit me in the back. I AM SO BORED. And have two little children and breastfeeding baby so can't REST rest. Tiny violins etc.
LOL to the nicking off, Pip! My boy is the nicker offerer around here. He's 3, that's not such a good habit for a 3 year old! Happy Easter! x
