Golly. Today was a big, weird day. I felt like I was floating down down down from a HUGE high! Yesterday was so great! Today was quiet and nice and I have a sore throat. I might take the day off tomorrow. I am in need of a big sigh and a bit of a snuggle, I think.
Today’s Good Thing is going to the Market. We got lots of yummy food and had a coffee and a bit of a mooch about. We cooked a nice lunch on Kirsty The BBQ, too. I bought a kilo of leather-jackets, as a bit of a nod to my youth, and some BBQ spices from the spice stall. And Cam cooked them on Kirsty while I did some work. We had them with Rice and Fresh Herbs and Chili and it was YUM. And I’m not even FISHY!
I also wrote a post about the way we LOOK AT LADIES! Go have a read and see if you think I am right! I really want to know what YOU think!
See ya tomoz, when I will be more chipper, I am sure!
xx Pip

I had forgotten, thanks Pip, my Dad has been gone, coming up to 6 years..so its ANOTHER good thing for today ,reminding me of all those years ago !! THANKS
Hello Pip!
Seeing this picture brought back a flood of Vic Market memories…thankyou so much.
Seeing all the wierd nad wonderful characters, the chattering clatter of the market hall, the intense walls of smells that hit you as you navigate the food sections, the holler of the meat men near closing time and above all, the wonderful combinations of food found in your trolley when you get home.
Being a Perth gal now makes me miss all these things, lovely photos remind me so beautifully.
Ta muchly.
I keep thinking of you post Pip. Just to drive the point home I am pretty sure if anyone saw a lady dressed like that man she would be ridiculed for her choice of clothing and footwear.
It's a shame. I really gravitate towards anyone being different. I have been called eccentric and I actually felt happy…although I don't think at the time I was being complimented.
I have always tried to live by the old sayings "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"…and…."treat people how you would like to be treated."
Simple yet highly effective.
xx
I was thinking: a kilo of leather jackets: I wonder kind of opshop/stall sells leather jackets by the kilo?! What is Pip gonna make out of them?! Some 80s inspired creation?! (early morning brain…!
Totally agree with you Pip!
Us ladies need to stop criticising and start loving ?
Hope you feel better soon:)))
Best wishes
