A whole heap of vintage fabric bundles and buttons too. They are nice. Come and see… lots of staggeringly lovely cotton.. some wool and tartan too and big bright colourful button-ness.
Such a rainy day on the plain… we spent lots of time trying to stay warm, cutting fabric and stowing the scraps away for our little friend Ella… and chatting to cold wet people. It was nice and cosy at Mikes… with many tea-cups and chai lattes and bowls of soup for lunch.
And come to think of it.. soup for dinner too. Chorizo, potato and white bean tonight.. with Turkish Bread for dipping. A coupla glasses of wine… Cam made Cumquat Marmalade from the huge bag of Quats he got yesterday… (just between me and you.. i don’t like marmalade…!)
There was snow on the outskirts of Melbourne.. and it was tempting to keep the boys home and drive off in search of some.. but it was only the second day back this term.. so we behaved and things ticked along just like usual.

I got to wear my new $15 coat and $3 dress today.. so i was pretty pleased with myself and feeling movie star glamorous… however tonight involved track pants and cleaning up the dogs bed… so feet are firmly planted I feel!
