:: Plates and Catching Up..!

November 14, 2011

Plate One
Plate Two
Plate Three
Plate Four
Plate Five

I’m late with my Sunday links! I will post them later today (as usual… I think they have become MONDAY links, don’t you?!)  I spent the weekend photographing and crocheting. I’m putting together a double tutorial, showing how to crochet the basic Larksfoot pattern and then how to step it up into the Arcade pattern I used for my space invaders style blanket!  It’ll be up late this week, (and emailed to some people a bit earlier!) so keep your eye on this blog!  I have been obsessing over plates for Rin’s wedding and generally making wedding plans with her.  I have been watching Step Up 3 with Ari.  I have been eating Lamb Rolls.  I have been getting excited about drawing the winner of the Bike and Books giveaway : it ends tonight!  I have been chatting to lots of people over on the JustB Facebook page.  I have been getting excited about my books being in both Colette Paris and Liberty London.  I have been doing  nice stuff, basically!  What have you been doing? I’ve got a meeting this morning…!

x Pip

My books in Liberty! And Kathreen’s book too! Photo via Yardage Design! Thanks!

    Hi Pip
    Those plates are to die for, especially number 2. Congrats on your book! Awesome!

    I've been very much looking forward to your arcade blanket tutorial since you first posted pics of your creation. So eye-catching. I've been raving about it to everyone I know, telling them how cool it is, and how crochet is not daggy. (Particularly to guys I know, who would have a chuckle and secretly relish owning an arcade blanket, even if they'd never say so publicly.)

    I haven't learnt how to crochet yet, so I'm not sure if it will be realistic attempting to make it straight away, but your tutorials are always easy to follow and make good sense. That will be on my side!

    I love your links and don't mind when they come. Late is better than never!

    Thank you for always being so generous with sharing tips, exciting things, and honest little tidbits.

    That is so cool about Liberty, that shop is a waking dream. Did you know the first link goes out to an article about Gloria Steinem and not a plate at all? Ha ha.

    Liberty? Cripes, woman. Sit back with a glass of something excellent and put your feet up. I believe you've absolutely 'made it' and nailed it.
