Oh, is there anything better than a beautiful diary? I love the weeks before anything goes in it – all that time to think about the amazing things one will probably end up doing. Parties and dinners and brunches and meetings with interesting and creative people. The anticipation of a blank diary is almost as good as a blank notebook.

I did not know you write for frankie, that is extremelly cool. I love that magazine like an old friend that you only get to catch up with every 2 months but it is awesome every time. I brought Smith Journal yesterday for my boyfriend but I snuck it last night for a read first and I have to say I enjoyed it just as much as Frankie. This is such an awesome giveaway, I missed out on their diary this year and was so sad.
Hooray for Frankie!! I remember reading the very first issue and knowing it would be the only mag for me! I've also made it a rule that I must buy all other publications they make, and so have both cookbooks and SPACES on my bookshelf. I must say that my very favourites sections in the mag have always been the crafty diy and recipe bits, and I'm so happy to find that so much of that happy-ness is from you, dear Pip! Oh I would love to win this beauitful giveaway. Due to changes in our lives (mostly me having to stop working to homeschool our 10years who has Asperger's) I have crossed off buying a 'special' diary and calendar off my list for 2012 – making do with 'no-frills' ones.
To have a Frankie diary and calendar would help with organising appointments, school work submission dates, and all the usual bill dues – as well as remembering to celebrate family birthdays and special occasions.
I have only just found Frankie this year it's lovely I carry it on to the train with much pride yes thats me i'm a maker and a thinker everyone. I like just touching the pages too. Thankyou you look nice today also.

Ooohhh! It would be wonderful to win the diary and calendar. I need the calendar to record all of the gigs I'm bound to end up going to and all my dreaded uni assignments so I can plan my procrastination appropriately. I will, for the first time in a long time, actually need a diary next year. Final year at uni, and my first 2 pracs in high schools. It would be nice to win some cred with the potential rat bags, rather than being a boring science teacher. I think it will improve my image just a little. Hi Pip, I am a huge Frankie fan and my man loves it too, he now has the Smith Journal. I used to read Spaces to my little girl when she was little and she enjoyed looking at the photo's. Hello Pip, A few years ago I made my own frankie diary – I cut out pictures and patterns from my frankie collection and other places to decorate a plain diary. My favourite was using pictures of vintage wrapping paper on my friend's and family's birthdays. I covered it in pink sparkly wrapping paper I had saved off a present, a vintage postcard of a room in a German palace and some pretty postage stamps…
But the real thing looks so much more beautiful!

Hi Pip. i just love Frankie! Its my fave mag and they do such a fab job of everything they touch! And the frankie Calendars are always a must have for me, filled with lovely illustrations by lots of wonderful talented people. The 2011 one is hanging in my kitchen. Can't wait to get my hands on the 2012!!
i had never really kept a diary/journal until i got the frankie 2011 diary for my birthday last year π every page was so cute and happy and cheerful that i couldn't wait to jot things in it every day! would love to keep it up with the 2012 edition π

I am hopeless with the keeping of a diary, I just put everything in my phone- imagine if I lost it. Much harder to loose a diary. You can't doodle on a phone either. you can't use coloured pencils either. Thanks Pip.
Oh gosh – I do so love Frankie! I have a Frankie diary for this year and it is wonderful, but I procrastinated too much about the calender and didn't end up getting one. But this year I shall! Even if I don't win (which I am quite sure that I shall not) I will buy them both! Because I love Frankie just that much ^_^ <3
