:: My New Book/s!

August 19, 2011

Wooh. Look at this! My new book and my new crafty journal! OMG. I am back in bed, sick with a sinus infection. But I am totes cheered along by these!  Exciting!  That is Bronte up there.  She is Steve and Michelle’s cat.  We made a lot of Make Hey! at Steve and Michelle’s house. They are really very lovely to let us take over their lives for 3 whole days, methinks.  Don’t you think? Yep.  Michelle is so lovely, she designed the book.  Go her!

The rest of Make Hey! was shot in Melbourne’s Edinburgh Gardens.  And we were lucky enough to borrow Besty the Caravan for the day, too.  Thank you FLISS!  Thank you Betsy!  John Laurie took the photos for Make Hey!, with some help from Chris M.  So thank you blokes with cameras!  And you probably already know that Hardie Grant (and the adorable Jane Winning) were the backbone of this whole book. So thank YOU.  Phew.  And look at Rin’s legs up there! And let’s not forget Janine Flew, my trusty craft detective.  She is great.  Yep.  There are lots more thank yous in the book. You’ll have to buy it to see yours. Tee-hee. Out in all good bookstores from October.  Try to buy local if you can.

xx Pip

PS : YES! There are recipe cards!
PPS : I will tell you about the Meet Me at Mike’s Crafty Journal next time!

    Hello awesome Pip,

    Just a quick question about the book: will this be available in any bookstores in Malaysia?

    I bought Meet Me at Mikes and Sew La Tea Do in Auckland before but now that I'm back in my country, I'd like to know whether I could get this from my local bookstores.

    Thanks!
