A J Geils Band reference seemed quite important. Today we shot more projects, incidental shots (the pretty shots that are for inspiration, rather than instruction) and Toula from Sugardough came to cook and help style the 5 recipes which will be in the book. Tomorrow we are shooting in a lovely park and then that is that!
Tomorrow I am going to sneak in shots of my shoes, road maps, eskys and other outdoorsy/holidayish kinds of things. This book is a book about Summertime and things to make for sunnier days. And the book I am about to start work on next is a Wintertime book… with things to make for cosier days! What do you think of that?!
On the weekend I am going to draw the Mr Darcy winner, and I will tell you about the shoes I posted yesterday, because LOTS of people emailed me (and commented!) to ask where to get them!
xx Pip
PS : thank you for being interested in what I am doing!
PPS : super huge thank you to Mr and Mrs Bronte : you are very amazing and I am very lucky.

Dear Pip,
You are absolutely swell. I'm also just a little bit excited to say that I have one of the same mugs in the second last photo! I think it's too adorable to use sometimes. The book also sounds wonderful too! I cannot wait to see what lovely summeriness you've conjured up, I'm sure it's brilliant!
It will be great to see it once it has all come together!!!!

Loving that shot fourth down where everyone is evaluating the images. It's gonna be a great book.
Can we get it in blighty?
Cissie
I found the picture four shots down where everyone is mulling over something obviously very important (except for the guy who has clearly just eaten some of the yummy food that was prepared and is digging something out of his teeth), quite funny! A summer AND a winter book sounds very exciting, Pip! And also, I WISH my kitchen was that shiny!
sounds like it's gonna be a goodie. who's the hottie in the check shirt?
Hi Pip,
Wow what fun and I suppose a lot of work.
It must be so rewarding when you see the end product.
I like the sound of the summer winter idea.
Can't wait to see the book.
Good luck.
Robyn
It will be out in March next year in Blighty! xx
