Like clockwork, the weather has turned its back on the heat and has turned all cool and indifferent.
I like it.
I like snuggling up under the doona at nighttime, and it was lovely to get the chance to do it last night for the first time in ages. And cups of tea are even better when it’s a bit cooler outside. As are toasted crumpets with butter and cheese. Yuuuuuuum.
I like going for big walks at dusk, where I entertain myself by greeting every cat, bat and neighbour I come across. Autumn is my favourite season for this as well. Everyone is still a bit sparky from the summer, settling in to a nice rhythm, but not cold enough to hibernate just yet.
I love wearing dresses, but only with opaque stockings on too. I’m not a leg-flashing kind of gal, despite my rowdiness. So I like wearing dresses in the cooler weather (I tend to wear jeans in the summertime. Topsy turvy me. Meh.). That’s me at the top there.
