This lovely book is due for release in November. It features lots of fantastic crafty contributors. You can see their work here and here and here if you can’t wait for the book! I myself am obsessed with making pincushions… i’ll post pics later in the week of the HUGE batch I made over the weekend… they are all lined up on my ironing board waiting for their final touches!
This is a cover design from the Sublime Stitching transfer packs we received last week. It is by Kurt Halsey – and is the first in their artist series transfers. They are truly gorgeous.. and the actual transfer is MUCH bigger then this picture. If you are interested in buying some of Kurts postcards or prints or other things.. go here. They take paypal.
And today.. we are cutting up half metres of Shannon‘s fantastic fabric in Red and White. (Not the black and white pictured!) It is truly lovely and we are so pleased-as-punch to have it – we also have her deer print fabric in stock – in all 3 colours.. and our usual bundles of Mikes Vintage Fabric – ( the vintage bundles contain 5 half metre pieces for $20.)
It seems that Magnolia Square is drawing some of our favourite crafters for their next lovely market! You can check in here to read all about it… and make sure you go go go and support the girls that make your day more pretty and crafty! They really are the nicest chicks you ever could meet… so go and say hey. It will run from the 16th to the 18th of August – at the St John’s Anglican Church, 5 Finch Street, East Malvern.
xx and happy rainy day to you!
Mikes

I have been wracking my brain for ideas for the stitching night on the 29th. I felt sure that a couple of my kids’ lovely artworks would translate well..but when I saw that gorgeous Kurt Halsey illustration I had second thoughts!
