Hello

One Inch World and Her Amazing Felted Ravioli

December 12, 2008

On Fridays, I plan my menu for the week in preparation for Saturday morning market shopping. I really seek to avoid the supermarket as much as possible, and getting most things at the market – or the local Turkish and Asian grocer…. or even the milk bar works out cheaper and more ethical for me. I would rather spend an extra 30c to buy something at my friendly corner store, than get a multi-can deal at Safeway or Coles (who probably don’t give a toss about what goes on in my ‘hood). At least I’m helping to prop up a small business, right?

Anyhoo, I was researching Wonton Wrapper Ravioli via Google’s Blogsearch this evening, when I came across this gorgeous felted ravioli by One Inch World. Visit her blog for the full tutorial, and even more ace stuff! I think these would be HILARIOUS lightly stuffed and stitched onto a t-shirt for a hungry toddler, perhaps with a nice appliqued saucy splodge of a background and some cute green-ribbon-basil-garnish too! (Also, let me know if you have a great ravioli filling that my boys might like.

I may see you at the market, if you are a 6.30am Saturday morning type of person!
