When i was a little girl… okay.. about 11… my mum and dad slept in very late one Christmas morning. My brother and sister and i got up early and stared at the presents under the tree. We weren’t allowed to open them without our parents – which was fair enough.
I decided (and convinced my sister) that we could open SOME of them and then tape them back up again very carefully. Which we did. Of course, i felt terrible and later confessed (I think under threat of exposure by my older brother).
I still remember how naughty I felt – but how GREAT it was to peek at those gifts!
