Ah, “Little house on the prairie”, those were the days, but I preferred the books! And Sophia Loren, she has a nice cookbook with childhood pictures in it.

aww.. sophia loren…Ali McGraw from Love Story..melissa gilbert from Little House on the Prairie…Marlo Thomas from That Girl (which is my fave show of all time!)… and Sally Field.. (seen recently in Brothers and Sisters.. but back then in The Flying Nun!) I love these girls! So glad some of you (who are old enough!) do tooo! The rest of you.. i urge you to investigate! You will like them too!

OK I have been compelled to officially delurk – the last three are all girls I grew up with – !! I’ve found myself occasionally watching the fantastic back to back programmes of Little House on the Prairie and The Waltons on Foxtel- bliss…

Oh, I am so old, I recognised and could name all of those women/girls!!! I loved ‘That Girl’ and ‘The Flying Nun’ and Melissa Gilbert grew up to marry Bruce Boxleitner: Scarecrow and Mrs King, Bring ‘Em Back Alive and B5!!!
