Hello Pip-Life

:: A Year Of Good Things : 80/366

March 21, 2012

I’ve had a mini break from Good Things. It’s not that I haven’t been DOING or NOTICING Good Things… it’s just that I didn’t feel the need to document them! I’m a renegade like that. But really, I think that it’s okay to make your own rules sometimes, and the rule for Good Things (for me) is that you need to have a life full of them, but you don’t have to kill yourself writing it down or proving it, if you are busy DOING them! That would totally defeat the purpose!

Day 63 : Afternoon Tea with some friends at Mme Brussels!
Day 64 : Spending time writing blog posts on the couch
Day 65 : Going to see Jamie Oliver with Rin for her birthday.
Day 66 : Going to dinner with family and friends for Rin’s birthday.
Day 67 : I do not know which Good Thing I did because I did not write anything down!
Day 68 : Making a delicious curry with Ari
Day 69 : Shopping at the market for Mussels and making a big pot of Mussel Soup (with Ari!)
Day 70 : Watching Great Expectations on telly! SO so good!
Day 71 : Taking some quiet time because I was feeling a bit poorly.
Day 72 : Buying records and gig tickets for Cam’s birthday too : so he can see Electrelane.
Day 73 : Launching ‘A Granny A Day 2012′ (more on that v soon!)
Day 74 : Going out for lunch and dinner for Cam’s birthday. (March is SO full of birthdays it is UNFUNNY!)
Day 75 : Meeting my friend Victoria for a coffee and a catch up. Having and important meeting.
Day 76 : Going to the market, sipping coffee and sharing snacks!
Day 77 : Watching Parenthood on the couch, going for walks and eating terrine!
Day 78 : Meeting a brand new baby! (Spike!)
Day 79 : My birthday! Talking to my pals and family! Eating macarons from Chimmy’s. THEY ARE SO GOOD! They are the BEST ones I have EVER had. Looking at Rin’s new Wedding Album!
Day 80 (Today!)  Dinner with some friends! Hiding from the rain! Tea with honey! Leftover birthday cake! Wishing Loobylu a Happy Birthday!

Are you having good times doing Good Things? What’s the nicest thing you’ve done lately?

xx Pip

    Hi Pip ,
Still love everything you do. Even if I don't get time to see all of it just knowing your doing great stuff and I can view these great posts at the DROP OF A HAT is really reassuring for me. I love all the links to other places full of amazing and inspiring words and pictures.
Keeping up with your year of good things I wanted to finally post a really good thing for me and that is the opening of my Etsy shop. Here is the link if anyone wants to take a peek.

I stock cute fairy acessories made in Cornwall by me with some inspiration from my daughter.

Thank you greatly for being a good wholesome girl to rely on.
    BIG LOVE PIP

PS Oo, Veg Everyday! The only River Cottage book I haven't got ( ironic for the vegetarian to post such a fact ! ) . Is it tremendous ? I'm sure 't is..

Aw. Chicken Noodle Soup is very good for frail people. That's pretty ace of you. Have a bowl yourself, won't you? xx
