The Wishing Flowers at NGV International

Hello! Hi! Guess what?! A cool thing has happened!

NGV International have invited me to run a workshop in the Great Hall in January, as part of the super-fun NGV Summer Kids Festival!

What will the workshop be about, you ask?! Well… we will be making special paper ‘Wishing Flowers’ and planting them in a special and magical Wishing Garden. It’s in conjunction with the Andy Warhol and Ai Weiwei exhibition – and is a nod to W + W’s love of blooms.

Would you like to come and make a simple flower (and plant it and make a wish?!)

Maybe your wish will be for YOU. Or you might want to wish for something for the world or for the Universe or for someone you love or know? Maybe you have a wish for a pet, even?

I will be there for 4 days to help you get your petal on! Can you EVEN BELIEVE this is happening?! I am so excited to be part of this!

You can find out more at the NGV site here.

Oh my gosh this sounds amazing. I will definitely try to bring Madeleine who would love love love this (plus the draw-a-cat activity – we’ll make a day of it!)
