Ten Tops Ways To Help Make For Good

September 27, 2016

Make For Good is a great collaboration between Etsy Australia and a bunch of ace local creatives.

Crafters, designers and artists list their #MakeForGood items and a hefty percentage of the sale price (at least 20%) goes to Plan Australia’s ‘Because I Am A Girl’ campaign. This important initiative funds programs in developing countries, ensuring girls are offered the support and educational opportunities so often denied them culturally.

Etsy says:

Last year’s campaign - an Etsy and Plan Australia first - raised more than $30,000, helping hundreds of girls and young women in some of the world’s poorest communities learn new skills and get access to support and opportunities.’

Here are just a tiny few of the 2016 Make For Good goodies you can snap up. And it’s all in the knowledge that you are contributing to something super valuable in the process of treating yourself or a pal.

Let’s face it, you’ve got nothing to lose! Go forth and make good!

I totally encourage you to delve a bit deeper into these stores. They have some rad stuff and I am especially loving the clever Perth contingent –  Ceramic Snippets and Whistleburg.

So, not only can you make your friends and family happy (with a cute handmade gift), you can make your dollar reach even further and help to change the lives of a bunch of great young women.

It’s a total win-win.
