Pip's Pompom Advent : meetmeatmikes.com

Hello!

I’ve been pompomming along each morning to mark the new day. I can’t tell you how nice it is. It’s kind of comforting to just sit and do something woolly with a cup of coffee. It’s a good thing to do, first thing.

The other thing I’ve discovered is that pompom adventing is really helping me get sorted for Christmas. I am not in denial (as I usually am!) I am planning with a sense of calm, instead of getting to December 22nd and screaming silently… under water… in the bath… with a face washer over my head: ‘I am not readdddddy!’  So that’s a relief as well as being heaps less soggy.

A few people have said that they are going to do this NEXT year, but it’s not too late to catch up NOW. Here’s how:

You need a stick
And some wool
Make each pompom in TEN minutes like this
Or go to the shops and get one of these for a FIVE minute pompom
Make 6 of them (in front of the telly, if you like!)
Hang those fluffy suckers up!
Get all advent-y!

Tell me if you are joining in? All the cute kids are doing it (hello LUCY!)  If you are hashtag-y and on Instagram or Twitter you can try #pompompip : that seems legit, right?

Hope you’re handling Christmas in an a-okay fashion… Chat very soon.

Love you!

x Pip
