Hello! Here’s a cute thing I want to do. You might like it too?!

Once a week.
Four photos.
To document your life.
One + Four = Life!

Every Sunday I’m going to host One + Four = Life on my blog. I HOPE it will get me excited about taking everyday photos again.  Fingers crossed. Here’s what it’s all about…

How it works

. If you’d like to join in, just share your four photos from the week on your own blog or in a grid/collage on Instagram or on your Facebook page or even Pinterest – and then drop the link in below.

. Images can be any size – display them as you like – no rules! Join in when you like – no rules there either!

. I’m going to post the One + Four = Life link list every Sunday – then you can pop in and add a link to you, if you’d like to share your life/blog/whatever around a bit!

. You can post images of anything you like – family, friends, food, garden, outings, fun times, making, doing, whatever!

Now to completely contradict myself, I’m posting the very first One + Four = Life  TODAY! It’s just to give you a minuscule head  start on our first week (my photos above are from a different week!)

(I’m going to add my own photos from this week to the linky tomorrow once I’m all sorted and the week is done! But you can add yours any time from NOW!)

I’m looking forward to checking out all your links! Get amongst it and let’s make this a really lovely weekly visual treat! As a gang. A treat gang!

PPS: You can also join in with Taking Stock once a month, if that sounds like you! Here’s the March edition.

A great way to reflect on the week that was and a use for all the random photos we take. What a great post idea! Thanks Pip 🙂

Thanks Pip for another wonderful idea of yours. I am fascinated by your rug making:)

    • Reply Meet Me At Mikes March 30, 2015 at 11:21 AM

Oh thanks for reading! The rug making is a group effort – a bunch of nice girls all did a bit here and there in their own style! x

Ooh, great idea! I’ve been wanting to do a weekly round-up feature on my blog but didn’t want to do a written one and have been searching for ‘some other way’….thank goodness you’re so creative and “mojo-bountiful” and came up with a perfect solution! I’ll definitely be joining you! Thank you!!

    • Reply Meet Me At Mikes March 30, 2015 at 11:23 AM

You are lovely! I bet you are just DRIPPING with MOJO! I bet you are! Thanks for reading and being excited about this new, fun thing! x

I am intrigued by your Ubud-style latch hooking! I love how it looks. Can you give me any more information about this? Is this something that you’re creating on your own, is this something you’re copying? I don’t know what Ubud-style is but your work looks like a cross between needlepoint and latch hook. I would appreciate any info. Thank you so much, Pip.

Love your books and your blog. By the way, your newest soon-to-be-released book is not yet listed on Amazon.com for pre-order. Any chance that your new publisher will get your book included? I’d love to be able to add it to my Meet Me at Mike’s/Pip Lincolne collection. : )

Greetings from New England in the US, by the way.

Hah! Ubud-style refers to a bunch of ladies, gathered for a creative retreat in Ubud, Bali, and everyone doing their own little free-style effort on the rug canvas. In the end, we all got waylaid making pompoms and this never got finished, but it was pretty to look at as we TRIED to finish it. (It is currently in a box awaiting some love!)

Re my book – thank you for asking! It’s not released outside of Australia yet, but hopefully that will change soon. I will be sure to let you know via the blog when I hear more.

Thanks for reading, Bristol Sunset! Much love to you! xx

Most people have not heard of Treat-Gangs… it’s such a shame. They are such a good thing! x
