one: a peek at my new book Craft For The Soul
two: progress on my #100DayProject
three: still an abundance of Easter eggs floating around my place
four: egg cups – found at the Abbotsford Salvation Army
Do you know what I have realised? I really don’t take that many photos! I think when you are constantly publishing online, as a blogger or a writer or whatever, you tend to either take A LOT of photos of everything, second-nature like OR you go in the other direction and keep your candid, personal moments just that. I am in the latter group. I am going to try and see if I can maybe get a bit less conservative when it comes to recording my life. I am going to give it a shot.
One: It’s less than a fortnight til my book’s official release date. I’m excited and nervous and can’t quite believe it’s actually happening at long last. It’s started to pop up on Instagram already, in the hands of some nice people.
Two: I’m working merrily along on #The100DayProject – I am quite obsessive when it comes to creative rituals. I just can’t help myself. A whole 100 days of making is exactly my kind of thing.
Three: Easter eggs. They are everywhere. What I like most about them is the foil wrappings. I can take or leave the chocolate but I am a total sucker for peeling and smoothing that foil. Also, how pretty are the colours?!
Four: It’s an eggy kind of life at the moment. I found these egg cups at the Salvos yesterday. They are bumped up and pastel-y and for tiny eggs (pullet eggs?) I love them and their sticky-out ears and noses.
How has your week been? Would you like to talk about it, too?
