:: The One About Making The Gorgeous Beaded Necklace

April 3, 2012

Argh. I really love this. The whole pretty colours paired with neutral thing makes me weak at the knees.  Does it make you feel like that too? If it does, go here. Laura Parke will show you how to make this lovely necklace. Off you go!

xx Pip

PS : I am SO TIRED! OMG! What’s with that? Do you think it’s something to do with the staying up a bit too late and looking at the computer a bit too much and getting up a bit too early and forgetting to eat regularly? I think it might be. I am going to TRY HARDER to look after myself a bit more. I am going to make chicken soup tomorrow. And I’m going to eat salad for lunch.  I am going to go for an extra walk in the afternoon. And I’m going to try to slow down the busy feeling and ease up!  Is your life like that sometimes? Do your eyeballs hang out a bit?!

That necklace = beautiful. Chicken soup = great idea when you are feeling flat. I wish I had time to go for a walk, I desperately need to but I'm just not getting there with baby sleeping at all hours of the day, it just doesn't seem appropriate to disturb his sleep patterns for my exercise patterns! I hope you get a bit of rest and feel a bit nicer. X

Please look after yourself Pip. It turns out you are abit of a role model y'know! No pressure! I was so tired on Sunday my eyeballs actually ached. I had a little nanna nap and felt much better after except I had a cotton wool feeling in my head. Why do we all do this to ourselves? You are very special to lots of people and no-one wants you to feel like a Flat Pip. Eat, drink, sleep, be merry, Sue x

Oh Pip, sounds like you need a well deserved sleep in! I don't know how you do everything you do!! Always finding and showing us such cool stuff on the interwebs and generally being a such a cool chick. Please don't overwork yourself and self combust – my twitter and facebook would be so lonely without you.

Gorgeous necklace, I love the half coloured beads. I know what you mean about the tiredness and not looking after yourself too, since I started blogging it is so easy to spend hours on end on the computer scouring other people's blogs and forgetting to eat!

  • Miss G April 3, 2012 at 7:08 PM

do take care of yourself Miss Pip! you should get an oil check and retune every few months – time for a day at the spa with some nice friends!

be as kind to yourself as you are to all of us!
