I am totally into The Beastie Boys. I love Mike D, especially. In fact, I got him to autograph a skate deck when he was in Melbourne once, eating his lunch at The Tofu Shop. He was super nice and totally up for a chat. I still have the deck sitting in my lounge room, taking pride of place.
You may or may not know that our cat is named Mike. After Mike D. And Meet Me at Mike’s was named for our cat. Who was named for Mike D. So you can see I am FIRMLY and SERIOUSLY a Mike fan.
With this in mind, you can imagine my DELIGHT when I read about Brooklyn Toile, Mike D’s wallpaper collaboration with Flavor Paper. What could be better?! OMG. I think I need to buy some of this when I get paid. I think I love the BLUE! How about you?

Bahaha, just saw the "loOk how nice you look today" note at the bottom of your message section- given that I am wearing leggings with a spotty nighty, red fluffy socks, long pink top and red dressing gown…..I'm giving dishevelled a whole new definition….I don't think it qualifies for looking nice, but thank you anyway!
Hmm, think I might have to pop on some of their music… Got it in my head now!
OMG, I have to have that!!
freakin' with the freak' freak'

Oh my god, I love this too. Wish it came out as fabric!!!
interesting pictures… I can imagine guests would be standing facing the wall for a long time to look at the little pictures. But I'm not so sure if it has a calming, homey effect to the room 🙂
You so have to get the blue print, it's very cool! You would need only one roll. 🙂
Thtat's a real cute story Pip. I always love hearing about pets who have human names. My sister's ex had a british bulldog named Steve & I thought it was such a cool name for a dog….
